Jiffit privacy policy has been compiled to better serve customers who are concerned with how their 'Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is being used online. What personal information do we collect from the people that visit our blog, website or app?
When ordering or registering on our site/application, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, communication address, mobile number, Family members' Contact Numbers, or other details to help you with a good service experience.

We collect information from you when you register on our site/application or request a service or product on our website or smartphone application.

How do we protect visitor information?
We do not use vulnerability scanning and/or scanning to PCI standards. We use regular Malware Scanning.

Jiffit Hero App-specific privacy policy and data collection
The app used by our technician/employee called Jiffit Hero app collects geolocation data even when the app is closed, tracking of background data allows our system to assign new bookings/tasks to our technician/employee which is nearby to his current location. The location data of the technician collected might be shared with the customer to provide him with the estimated time of arrival.
Also, our app searches for available apps installed on devices (specifically MAP apps) to provide geo routing to customer locations on google maps. These permissions are required to function the app properly and provide booking which is relevant to the technician/employee.

HERO: Jiffit collects location data when the Jiffit Hero App runs in the foreground (the app is open and on-screen) or background (the app is not in use) of their mobile device. Jiffit collects location data only when the HERO has enabled the icon “On-Duty” on the Jiffit Hero App.

ADMINISTRATIVE AND LEGAL REASONS
We cooperate with government, law enforcement officials, and private parties to enforce and comply with the law. Thus, we may access, use, preserve, transfer and disclose your information (including Protected Information, IP address, Device Information, or geo-location data), to Government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we reasonably determine is necessary and appropriate:
(i) to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, subpoenas, Governmental requests, or legal process;
(ii) to protect and/or defend the Terms and Conditions for online and mobile Services or other policies applicable to any online and mobile Services, including investigation of potential violations thereof;
(iii) to protect the safety, rights, property, or security of the Company, our Services, or any third party;
(iv) to protect the safety of the public for any reason;
(v) to detect, prevent or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues; and /or
(vi) to prevent or stop an activity we may consider to be or to pose a risk of being, an illegal, unethical, or legally actionable activity.
5. If you wish to cancel your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you with services, contact us through the email address mentioned on the cleaning bill received. We will retain your Protected Information and Usage Information (including geo-location) for as long as your account with the Services is active and as needed to provide you services. Even after your account is terminated, we will retain your Protected Information and Usage Information (including geo-location, cleaning history, and work history) for such statutory time period as needed to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations in accordance with the applicable laws of the country, to resolve disputes, conclude any activities related to the cancellation of an account, investigate, or prevent fraud and other inappropriate activity related to your account. After completion of the such statutory period, your data may either be deleted from our database or be anonymized and aggregated and then may be held by us as long as necessary for us to provide our Services effectively. Still, our use of the anonymized data will be solely for internal analytic purposes.

Transaction Data, which includes your IP address, browser type, internet service provider, details of the operating system, access time, page views, device ID, device type frequency of visiting our website, and use of the platform, website, and mobile application activity, clicks, date and time stamps, location data, and other technology on the devices that you use to access the platform.
Automated technologies or interactions, Each time you visit the platform or use the services, we will automatically collect technical data about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns. We collect this personal data by using cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, server logs, and other similar technologies. We may also receive technical data bout you if you visit other websites or apps that employ our cookies.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
1. Amount once paid through the payment gateway shall not be refunded other than in the following circumstances: • Multiple times debiting of Customer’s Card/Bank Account due to technical error OR Customer's account being debited with excess amount in a single transaction due to technical error. In such cases, the excess amount excluding Payment Gateway charges would be refunded to the Customer. • Due to a technical error, payment is being charged to the Customer’s Card/Bank Account but the enrolment for the examination is unsuccessful. Customers would be provided with the enrolment by NISM at no extra cost. However, if in such cases, the Customer wishes to seek a refund of the amount, he/she would be refunded net the amount, after the deduction of Payment Gateway charges or any other charges.
2. The Customer will have to make an application for a refund along with the transaction number and original payment receipt if any generated at the time of making payments.

4. The application will be processed manually and after verification, if the claim is found valid, the amount received in excess will be refunded by NISM through electronic mode in favor of the applicant, and confirmation sent to the mailing address given in the online registration form, within a period of 21 calendar days on receipt of such claim. It will take 3-21 days for the money to show in your bank account depending on your bank’s policy.
5. Company assumes no responsibility and shall incur no liability if it is unable to affect any Payment Instruction(s) on the Payment Date owing to any one or more of the following circumstances:
a. If the Payment Instruction(s) issued by you is/are incomplete, inaccurate, invalid, and delayed.
b. If the Payment Account has insufficient funds/limits to cover the amount as mentioned in the Payment Instruction(s)
c. If the funds available in the Payment Account are under any encumbrance or charge.
d. If your Bank or the NCC refuses or delays honoring the Payment Instruction(s)
e. Circumstances beyond the control of the Company (including, but not limited to, fire, flood, natural disasters, bank strikes, power failure, and systems failure like computer or telephone lines breakdown due to an unforeseeable cause or interference from an outside force)
f. In case the payment is not effected for any reason, you will be intimated about the failed payment by e-mail
6. User agrees that Company, in its sole discretion, for any or no reason, and without penalty, may suspend or terminate his/her account (or any part thereof) or use of the Services and remove and discard all or any part of his/her account, user profile, or his/her recipient profile, at any time. Company may also in its sole discretion and at any time discontinue providing access to the Services, or any part thereof, with or without notice. User agrees that any termination of his /her access to the Services or any account he/she may have or portion thereof may be effected without prior notice, and also agrees that Company will not be liable to the user or any third party for any such termination. Any suspected, fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity may be referred to appropriate law enforcement authorities. These remedies are in addition to any other remedies the Company may have at law or in equity. Upon termination for any reason, the user agrees to immediately stop using the Services.
7. Company may elect to resolve any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement or Service provided in connection with this Agreement by binding arbitration in accordance with the provisions of the Indian Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996. Any such dispute, controversy, or claim shall be arbitrated on an individual basis and shall not be consolidated in any arbitration with any claim or controversy of any other party.
8. Data deletion/ Account deletion Request can be submited by customer/user by loging in to his/her account and filling the Data Deleetion Request form available at My Profile Page. We would respond and confirm deletaion of your data within 15 days from the request on your registered email/mobile no.
